During his evolutionary development, humans were always under different pressures ranging from natural disasters to hostile environment, from struggling to find food to mutual fightings and wars. Because of such a development, our whole body is built in a way to take care of itself, i.e. one of the functions of the body is also a survival. In its lifetime, a human being had always been under different forms of stress which were more physical than psychical dangers. With the technological development, the physical stress and need to survive have been pushed in a background, so we today, (apart from professional soldiers, policemen, bodyguards etc.) live more under the pressure of psychical forms of the stress. The body has, in a way, become neglected due to lack of physical activities, and thus it slowly loses its natural defence mechanisms against stress and so its deterioration is accelerated.
A physical encounter between two men is a primary form of stress which was experienced, both in the past as is today, by the majority of people. In a physical conflict between two people it is necessary to use all natural resources an individual possess, both physical (like strength, speed, agility), and psychical (calmness, cold-bloodedness ) and as such represents an ideal physical exercise in a form of maintenance of a healthy spirit and body.
It goes without saying that in our time such a form of exercise requires a certain special approach and protective equipment which ensures that such exercise can be worked out without any injuries and other risks.
