  TRAINING BAG CROWS

Bag is an inevitable training part of all kicking disciplines. Over the time every discipline has grown its own method on bag in order to accomplish the performances it considered essential. However this work was immeasurable and in a way it depended on a personal judgment of the athlete or his coach. In other sports training is always under control, as far as measuring the training process is concerned, so one can always control and follow the eventual progress or decline of an athlete. In order to respond to these needs sport offers a range of measuring techniques from the simple ones as stop-watch, weights, counting repetitions to sophisticated information technology. The most interesting training data includes the time of the invested effort, number of repetitions and the invested energy.

The training bag Crows enables the coach to control the exercise of the athlete. Apparently this bag does not differ from any other bag commonly used in kicking disciplines. It consists of a special hard material pleasant to punch because it prevents injuries to the joints. Besides the chain on the upper part, this bag is connected to a computer with three displays.

The first display shows the exercise time of the athlete on the bag and it can be adjusted according ly.

The second display shows the number of kicks in a set time.

The third display shows the energy of every kick expressed in Ws or J (Ws = J).

A strike, as a physical phenomenon is defined as collision of masses of two inert bodies due to which energy is transmitted. The energy size depends on the speed and the mass of the body that hits and the body that the hit is delivered to. It is well-known that it is relatively easy to demonstrate a lot of energy when striking something fixed and massive, i.e. a wall, however things change when, instead, we use an axe to hit a sheet of paper pending free in the air. What we actually do when we try to express the power of the strike in kg or N ( Newton 's) is that we measure the "pushing" force, not the energy of the strike. In industry, especially the military one, whenever one talks about the power of the kick (or whatever), he is referring to the energy transmitted.

Besides the mass and the speed, that energy depends on a series of other factors such as structure, hardness, path etc. This can be easily proven. Everybody knows that there is a great difference between getting hit by five kg of feathers or five kg of iron.

The training bag Crows is made to simulate as much as possible the athlete 's energy in kicking disciplines, in other words to act as a sparing partner when getting hit. It means that if you kick it while it sways away from you, the kick will be weaker, and stronger if you kick it while it sways towards you.

Furthermore, it can be adjusted in terms of the minimal registerable hit since athletes with different weight categories will be exercising on the bag. It is ideal for training because it opens way to many systems of work. One can adjust it to mode that does not count the hits under a certain level that coach considers below somebody's level. Moreover, the alarm may be activated when time between two kicks exceeds the set time (i.e. 3 sec) so one can control the intensity of exercise on the bag.
